Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam  in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

The diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Sri Lanka, established in July 1970, have been continuously developing in many fields. Our Embassy have just been opened in Colombo, the beautiful capital of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, which have vast potentials for national development and international cooperation. We hope that the opening of the Embassy as well as its website will help further your understanding about Vietnam, our traditional relationship, thus enhancing our bilateral partnership in the interest of the people of both countries and for the sake of peace and stability in the region and the world.

President Sang welcomes new ambassadors (18-09-2014)
(VNA) - State President Truong Tan Sang met with the new ambassadors of the Republic of Sierra Leone, the Republic of Iceland, the Republic of Tunisia, the United Republic of Tanzania, the Republic of Guatemala, the Republic of Gruzia, and the Republic of Mali who presented their credentials in Hanoi on September 17.
